At our building yard located in Lone Butte, BC, we construct handcrafted log homes that are typically built with engelmann spruce, lodge pole pine, douglas fir, or western red cedar.  As a rule,  timber frame structures are built using engelman spruce or douglas fir.  We also supply log and timber accents.  Attention to detail by our staff and building crew make the quality of Kawdy Mountain Homes Inc second to none, and you will find our quotes very competitive and fair.

Being situated in the heart of BC's forest industry, we have an unlimited supply of premium quality timber.  In addition to harvesting engelmann spruce, lodgepole pine, douglas fir and western red cedar species, we often and whenever possible utilize standing dead.

To compliment your log or timber frame home, Kawdy Mountain Homes Inc can provide you with the finest quality custom-built wood frame windows and doors.  These are designed and constructed specifically for log and timber frame structures, and are generally made of western red cedar or douglas fir.  Timber frames are typically enclosed with stress-skin insulated panels (SIPS) which we can include with your timber frame package.  Various types of milled lumber such as fir planking for flooring, cedar decking, t&g pine for ceilings are also available for added complements to your new home.
